Centurion Lounge Complimentary Access
Beginning February 1, 2023, if U.S. American Express Platinum and Business Platinum Card Members, and their Additional Platinum Card Members, spend a total of $75,000 or more on eligible purchases on their Platinum Account during a calendar year, they will receive complimentary Centurion lounge access for up to two guests per visit. Complimentary Guest Access applies from the time it becomes effective until January 31 of the second calendar year thereafter. For example, if Complimentary Guest Access becomes effective on May 1, 2024, it will remain effective through January 31, 2026.
This policy applies to U.S. Platinum Card and U.S. Business Platinum Card Members. There is no purchase requirement for complimentary Centurion Lounge guest access for U.S. Corporate Platinum Card and U.S. Centurion Members.
This policy currently applies to all U.S. locations of The Centurion Lounge, and the London Heathrow (LHR) and Hong Kong (HKG) locations of The Centurion Lounge.
How do I check my progress towards achieving Complimentary Guest Access?
You can track your progress in the Membership tab within the Amex App or the Benefits tab of your American Express online account. Eligible purchases may take up to 12 weeks to be reflected in the online tracker.
If the Platinum Account does not reach the $75,000 purchase requirement in any given year, Platinum Card Members and Additional Platinum Card Members on the account can bring guests into the Centurion Lounge for a fee of $50 for each guest (or $30 for children aged 2-17, with proof of age) per visit. Children under 2 are complimentary provided an accompanying parent or guardian can show a “lap infant” boarding pass or proof of age.
We are happy to admit eligible Platinum Card Members and Delta Reserve® Card Members into locations of The Centurion® Lounge in the U.S., at Hong Kong International Airport, and at London Heathrow Airport within 3 hours of the departure time stated on your eligible same-day, confirmed boarding pass. We can’t admit you if you’ve just landed, unless you have a layover or connecting flight that departs on the same day that is stated on your boarding pass. Same-day round-trip itineraries are not considered connecting flights.
If your same-day outbound flight departs after the lounge closes for the day, we will admit you as early as 3 hours prior to the lounge closing, subject to available capacity.
Select lounges outside of the U.S. may allow access to eligible Card Members with a confirmed reservation for any same-day travel (departure or arrival). Refer to the specific location’s page at thecenturionlounge.com/international/ for more information on access policies. Note that the Centurion Lounges at Heathrow and Hong Kong currently allow access for same-day departures only.

The fee for guests aged 2-17 is $30 USD per guest. Guest rates at international lounge locations are equivalent of USD in local currency. Please see above for the guest access policy. An American Express Card must be used as the payment method.
We currently welcome service animals, emotional support animals, and pets into Centurion Lounges. However, effective February 1st, 2025, we will no longer admit pets and emotional support animals; service animals will continue to be permitted to accompany their handler into The Centurion Lounge. To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, we ask that you please follow our policies when traveling with animals.

Misconduct-related violations to Access and House Rules, including the use of discriminatory or aggressive language toward staff, or behaviors that are disruptive to the safety and comfort of other members, guests and our staff may result in removal from the lounge, suspension, or cancelation of any feature of your card (including access to The Centurion Lounge) or suspension or cancelation of your American Express account.
Lost items are turned over to the airport lost and found. If we can identify the owner of the item, we will attempt to contact him or her before delivering the item to the airport lost and found.
The Centurion® Lounge
The Centurion® Lounge offers the following services and amenities at no additional cost once you enter the Lounge. All are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may not be reserved in advance. Certain services and amenities, such as conference rooms and family rooms, are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
We do not currently offer memberships. Access is only available to eligible Platinum Card Members, Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Card Members, Centurion Members, and eligible guests.
Yes, all Platinum Card® and Centurion Members, regardless of country of issue, are eligible for access to The Centurion® Lounge.
